For the Ethel M Chocolates project, the focus was on high-end food and product retouching designed to highlight the premium quality and craftsmanship of the brand. In confectionery work, the goal is to make the product look as appetizing and perfect as possible while maintaining the natural, artisanal textures of the chocolate itself.
The primary technical challenge was managing the surfaces of the chocolates and the packaging. I worked to remove minor manufacturing imperfections, like small scuffs or air bubbles.
I also spent a lot of time on the environmental elements and packaging in particular. This involved removing reflections to ensure the entire frame felt as perfect as it tastes.
