Sotheby's x Eva K. Salvi
For the Sotheby’s project, the work centered on high-end jewelry advertising featuring a model in a luxury, elegant look. The goal is total precision, the jewelry has to look flawless and expensive without the post-production feeling over the top. The main challenge is managing the contrast between the soft, organic texture of the skin and the hard, reflective surfaces of precious metals and stones.

For the model’s skin and the garment, I stuck to a light-handed dodge and burn approach.  I cleaned up the silhouette of the clothing to remove distracting folds and tension lines, ensuring the overall look was as refined as the pieces being advertised. The final images were clean, high-clarity assets that felt expensive and sat perfectly within the Sotheby's aesthetic.
